Quinoa Referenced in Sitcom Punchline

In a move that all but guarantees a meteoric collision with the popular zeitgeist (and not to mention dinner plates everywhere), quinoa was recently mentioned in a punchline during an episode of the TBS situational comedy "My Boys."

The joke, which can be viewed at 09:19 in the attached and probably illegally posted clip, went completely over the heads of all but two viewers -- namely, Mr. and Mrs. Driver. The couple, however, shrieked in giddy excitement over the mention of the innocuous, soon-to-be popular grain.

Data about whether or not The Drivers were, in fact, the only two viewers of "My Boys" is currently unavailable.
