The Importance of Information Design

The photo above represents an example of clear, effective signage, wayfinding and/or information design.

Questions answered / problems solved by this communication:

1. "Where are the hams?"
2. "Which building?"
3. "What is the plural of 'ham'?"
4. "I've found the building with the hams. Where do I enter?"

Unfortunately, even the best efforts can still leave room for error.

Questions not addressed by this communication:

1. Has "this building" passed a health code inspection?
2. Is there a difference between "inside" and "outside"?
3. What about sausages? Bacons? Beefs?
4. Is there some other building? [ Note: There wasn't. ]

Dear Driver,
I have now laughed so hard that I fear I've peed my pants. I hope you are happy.
